Overnight Farm Stay

Charming 1896 farmhouse, 5 rooms, 3 with private bath. Farm breakfast (sorry, not on Sundays). A tour of our dairy farm is included with your night's stay. Milk a cow, feed a calf, hike open farmland by Strasburg Railroad steam train, fish, bike, attend Mennonite services on Sunday morning.

For larger groups, you may choose to rent our cozy "Little White House by the Side of the Road" with full kitchen, three private baths (two with air-jet tubs) that will sleep 18. Or rent the entire cottage and be assured of quiet solitude.

Breakfasts are optional.

Farm Fun For All Ages!

New for 2008! The Farmer's Apprentice!

Be an apprentice for an hour or two on our real working farm! Milk a cow, make preserves, learn how barns are built, feed the animals, learn quilting or plant or harvest some crops. Reservations required.

Can't stay overnight? Then be sure to call ahead to book your farm fun visit at Verdant View. Here you can take a wagon farm tour (weather permitting), see the farm animals up close and even milk a cow or feed a calf. Enjoy walking through our "back forty" by following our path through fertile farm fields and pastures. The Strasburg Rail Road passes through our farm so most times you'll be able to enjoy seeing the steam train chug by. Wave and the engineer may even toot his whistle! No Sunday farm activities available. Group reservations welcome.
